OUAT Faculty Recruitment 2025

Odisha University of Agriculture and Technology Bhubaneswar has made the announcement and released the official notification PDF on their website for the baking post of professor. The candidate and applicant who are applying for this position need to send their application form along with all the self-attested copies of required documents and certification to the registrar OUAT, Bhubaneswar. Education Qualification For Assistant Professor

• The minimum education qualification is a bachelor’s degree in that particular subject with at least 50% marks.
• The minimum second-class master’s degree with 50% marks is also applicable and under the essential qualification.
• The candidate must have qualified for the national eligibility test [NET] and must have one Publication in the National Academy of Agriculture Sciences journal.
• The candidate with a PhD degree in agriculture with course work has no need for the minimum eligibility criteria of NET but they must have 2 Publications in the National Academy of Agriculture Sciences NAAS.

Education Qualification For An Associate Professor

• The applicant needs a minimum second-class bachelor’s and master’s degree with at least 50% marks.
• A PhD degree is must requirement in the concerned subject for the job of associate professor in agronomy. Agronomy is the main subject which is required for the candidate.
• The candidate must have a minimum of 8 years of experience excluding the PhD study.
• They must have experience in teaching, research, and others as an Assistant Professor in a reputed government institute or university.

Professor Education Qualification

• The minimum second-class bachelor’s and master’s degrees with at least 55% marks are required for the candidate with a master’s degree in agronomy.
• Must have PhD degree in agronomy and a minimum of 10 years of experience, 2 years in the cadre of associate professors.

Associate professor pay scale:	Level 12, Rs 79,800/- DA and other allowances.

Age Requirement Eligibility

The assistant professor’s age requirement is 35 years on the last date of application. There is no upper age limit for the applicants. The retirement age is 60 years.
